USB vs Windows help (Zadig)

Both modes cannot use the same USB cable at once.

  • Direct Windows — Windows driver owns printer (POS-58 list).
  • USB (VID/PID) — use Zadig → WinUSB, then Connect here.
  1. Remove printer from Windows Printers & scanners.
  2. Zadig (zadig.akeo.ie) → List All Devices → WinUSB → Replace Driver.
  3. Restart PC → Mode USB (VID/PID) → Connect.
